Executive Director of Public Affairs, NuStar Energy L.P.

Shay Bluntzer has directed NuStar’s government relations program at the international, national, state and local levels since 2008.  Shay represents NuStar before the U.S. Congress, as well as several state legislatures and local municipalities; advises senior management on political and policy issues impacting the company; and plans and executes NuStar’s political activities.  Before his current position he served as Government Affairs Representative at Valero Energy Corporation, representing Valero before the California Legislature and state agencies.  He is a graduate of Texas State University – San Marcos.
